During the 2024-25 season, Bethany performed frequently in a variety of settings, including with Minnesota Orchestra, Minnesota Sinfonia, South Dakota Symphony, South Dakota Wind Quintet, and in several different Twin Cities classical music series (Classical Music Project, Vocalessence, Nutcracker, St. Mark's Cathedral, Border CrosSing, Film Score Fest, American Ballet Theater performances in Twin Cities, Film Score Fest, Summit Sinfonietta).

Bethany's students had a fulfilling 2024-25 school year and summer. They performed with GTCYS (Greater Twin Cities Youth Symphonies), at UMFA (Upper Midwest Flute Association)'s Marathon Flute Concert and Flute Fest, at Schmitt's MakeMusic day, with the Flute Cocktail flute choir, and in Bethany's end-of-year studio recitals. They especially enjoyed the opportunity to play chamber music together (small ensembles). They continued field-testing new works for Bethany's in-progress pedagogical book, which she will publish after its completion, and they have enjoyed learning and refining some new and/or less-familiar skills throughout that process. Three of Bethany's students were selected to perform concertos this season - one with their school ensemble and two with a professional orchestra as part of the University of St. Thomas Festival Orchestra competition. Two of her graduating senior students auditioned successfully to pursue music degrees at Bard College (performance) and University of Minnesota-Duluth (education).
